Argos Animal Sanctuary is always in need of funds to continue their work in helping stray or injured animals in Cyprus. Or, if you can help in any other way for example by giving a loving home to a dog or cat, helping out at the sanctuary, donating food, towels, blankets etc. please get in touch with Argos. Azzuro Hair Design have kindly offered to keep their drop box for Argos in the salon all year round, you will find the salon opposite the Princess Hotel on the Dhekelia Road behind the Agrino Pub in the square with the fountain! Cycling Cyprus is a relatively new charity. In January 2009 Paul Clarke decided to cycle from one end of Cyprus around the coast to the other to raise money for various deserving Paphos charities. Since then Cycling Cyprus has grown and this year Paul, along with other keen cyclists, will be doing their bit to raise more money for the charities. Help For Heroes - a fund raising evening was held at the Capital Coast Resort in Paphos on Friday 26th February 2010 in aid of this very worthy cause by Peace and Harmony Freemasonry Lodge of Paphos. All who attended this event enjoyed the best of Cyprus entertainment and an incredible auction and raffle. A fantastic amount of €24000 was raised! A Night of Music & Mystery - a fantastic nights entertainment at Polykarpos Hall, Paralimni on Saturday 27th February 2010 was enjoyed by all those who attended this event.
