Getting to Cyprus
With ferries only usually operating limited services from Greece, your primary entry route to Cyprus will be by plane. Arriving at either Pafos or Larnaca airports, you are no more than about one hour from your hotel or apartment.
Most national carriers fly into Cyprus from destinations around Europe, with the flight from the UK being 4 to 4.5 hours. Last minute flights can be booked, but Cyprus is falling into the trap of charging far too much to get here, and it can be said it has had some impact on the numbers of tourists arriving as they have chosen better value destinations.
That is not to say good deals are not available, but as always, it is best to shop around. The best prices we have found are around €155 + taxes, around €225 all in.
