Cyprus Holidays.
The chances are, when you have been to Cyprus, you will want to return sooner rather than later for either another holiday, or as many do, to live here. We have sections on living in Cyprus and buying property in Cyprus.
Cyprus has much to offer and you cannot possibly see it all in one go. The best way to get around is obviously by car, we have information about car rentals Cyprus or if you are looking for something different why not try hiring a scooter in Cyprus. You will also find organised trips available with your tour rep to go to various places of interest on the Island. If you are British and feeling a little home sick check out the Red Bus Cyprus who offer open top bus tours in the Protaras/Paralimni/Ayia Napa/Famagusta areas, these have proved very popular in the short time they have been on the Island - best to book!
For the more adventurous do something that you've never done before! Of course, watersports in Cyprus are always very popular including scuba diving (the Zenobia wreck just offshore from Larnaca is very popular), Mikes watersports at Konnos Bay has everything you might be looking for to go jet skiing in Cyprus and paragliding in the Ayia Napa area. He also caters for boat trips around Cape Grecko and the Protaras area. There is more information on Mikes Watersports page here on Cyprus Local.
There is also a gliding centre in Cyprus. This is a breathtaking experience not to be missed, the glider is launched by a cable winch, at the top of the launch the cable is released and your pilot will take you for a scenic flight around the airfield so you can have a view of Cyprus from the air. Flights vary in length depending on the thermals on the day! Visitors flights are only €20.00 - fantastic value for a unforgetable experience. The centre is based at Kingsfield, near Dhekelia. Full information on the Crusaders Gliding Club page
We get lots of people asking us where to eat out in Cyprus or how much does it cost to eat out in Cyprus, check our 'Eating out in Cyprus' page for information and advice.
We have broken the information here into 'bite sized pieces'. It is by no means exhaustive, just designed to give you a flavour for the Island, some pointers on where to go and things to do and see in Cyprus. Go the menu, hover over 'Cyprus Information' and a drop down menu will appear for each section.
